Welcome to Desires a sex club where all your sexual fantasies become real. Stacie Clifford has recently left her abusive husband and now after some time being alone decides it’s time for her to go out and meet new men, only her confidence has been shot. Stacie takes the plunge and calls the club setting up an interview with the manger to fill in a questionnaire about her likes and dislikes and also a contract stipulating ‘no emotional involvement is accepted between clients and tutor or tutors’ Stacie sees no problem and signs. She is then placed with a man 7 years younger than her, concerned, worried about getting undressed in front of such a young man, only when she feasts her eyes on him, he’s gorgeous, charming, sweet and damn well hot. Stacie finds herself re-booking Dan wanting more, unable t get enough of him. He takes her through the stages of getting to know her body, finding her do’s and don’ts, only the more time she spends with him the more her heart aches and desires him for more than just a tutor, only she’s constantly reminded of the contract.

This is the first book I've read by this writing team. The writing is good, it's fairly well edited, the writing is clearly British in it's phrasing and slang. There's a fair amount of character development on the part of Stacie, the female protagonist, who is coming out of an abusive marriage and trying to get her confidence and sexy back. There's no indication of character growth on the part of Dan, the male lead. You are privy to what goes on in Stacie's head, but not in Dan's. Right up until the last weekend, he's spouting the company line, so I think more could have been done with that. There is a lot of sex, and most of the relationship takes place in a sex club, so there is a variety of sexual situations represented, along with some profanity.Heat factor hot.

Would read again
This book is scorching. I am a grown, married woman, yet I found myself blushing A LOT. Dan was so easy to fall for and Stacie deserved her HEA. Thanks for sharing this steaming novel with us.
Did not feel like that the characters were well developed and did not feel the chemistry between the two main characters. Actually put me to sleep.
This is a good introduction to BDSM clubs that I was not aware existed. The heroine was looking for renewal and found it in this club. The sex was amazing and the descriptions of the rooms of the clubs were great!
The summary of this book seemed intriguing however the story was very disappointing. It was almost annoying. I forced myself to finish this book glad I did. At least the ending was good and I did get the book for free. Totally not worth $6.99.
Loved this story, a young woman broken in more ways by her ex-husband, finds the strength to rebuild her self esteem and her life... and finds happiness and love in an unlikely place, a sex club called Desires. Happy ending with a sweet, gorgeous guy *sigh*
I give it a 4 and 1/2 stars.
If you like hot books with lots of sex, you'll love Desires by Holly J. Gill. It's well-written, and unlike a lot of erotica, there's a real story unfolding between the sexual encounters. After finally escaping from an abusive marriage, Stacie lacks confidence in herself. She hopes to re-discover who she is by re-awakening her sexuality.
I gave the book 4 stars instead of 5 because I would have liked more story and less sex, but that's just me. If you can't get enough sex on the pages, then Desires is definitely the book for you.
